Saturn alt and EVO9 OFH

So I'm starting to bolt things to the long block and found a issue. I'm running the Saturn alt and the EVO9 OFH. There is very little clearance between the belt and part of the OFH. I'm not sure if the housing should be ground down or not. I know I'm running the longest belt that you can without grinding the tab down though. The other issue is that there is another tab on the OFH that stops me from putting a shorter belt on because it interfered with the alt rotating any further in. So I'm thinking that either way Ill have to grind on the OFH more than the standard grinding that is needed for the Saturn swap with a DSM OFH. :(
Update....

So I ended up grinding on the OFH in 2 places to gain extra clearance and to allow the ALT to ratate in more. Also for one of the sensors you will need a 90 DEG adapter because the port is inline with the belt. The belt is pictured so that you guys know what belt Im using for this fitment.

Oddball things on my build.......
EVO9 OFH
Saturn alt WITH SMALLER PULLEY
Fluidamper crank pulley.

Hope this helps others trying to do this same setup.

In the fourth picture with the sender, the hole you're holding it next to is not a port that leads inside the OFH - it's just a threaded hole (that for us has no purpose). I'm not sure if you intended to thread in the sender there or not, but I figured I would mention that.

I have a couple of questions for you about this setup:

1) Do you know the size of the fluidamper pulley relative to a stock pulley?

2) Am I correct in assuming the 90 elbow is not actually needed?

3) Do you have any pics of the finished setup?

Btw, thanks for posting this blog! It's very helpful.
